Country gospel artist Allen Frizzell will share his music and testimony during the 10:45 a.m. service at New Hebron Baptist Church on Sunday, Nov. 15. The church is located at 4353 FM 451 in Waskom. A love offering will be taken.
Frizzell is the brother of country music artists Lefty Frizzell and David Frizzell. According to the story, Lefty had a strong influence on his vocal style, while David helped shape his understanding of the music business. Frizzell began traveling with David as a teenager. He said he always took pride in his brothers' success. "I was always proud of them," he said.
Frizzell has continued performing across the country and internationally. His accomplishments include induction into the Texas Country Music Hall of Fame in 2026.
