Crews will close the Loop Boulevard access to Loop 20 from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. Monday, Nov. 2, and traffic will be directed to a temporary detour. The detour is just south of the former UISD food kitchen on Loop 20, according to the report.
The detour is expected to stay in place for four to six months while crews build a new northbound frontage road. People who live in the Loop subdivision will still have access to their neighborhood. Crews will start with striping and moving concrete barriers along the northbound main lanes.
