According to a report from ESPN's Pete Thamel, Big 12 Commissioner Brett Yormark will leave the conference after the 2026 football season ends.
Thamel said Yormark made the decision to leave and is expected to take a new role outside of college sports in the near future.
Thamel also said the Big 12's presidents and chancellors met and formalized Yormark's departure. The story was first reported by KCBD in Lubbock.
