Lubbock businesswoman Kristi Frazier and her outdoor wear product, the Ultimate Stadium Sak, were recently featured on the “Today” show during Women’s Small Business Month. Frazier was selected from thousands of nominations, the report said.
Frazier works at KK’s Corner Mall in Lubbock, a business owned by her mother. She said the idea came about seven years ago at a football game, when she missed a touchdown while adjusting a blanket while watching her son play. The product is now patented and trademarked. The sack is sold locally at the mall, and Frazier said most sales come online, with shipping across the United States and Canada.
The national appearance was a return to the program for Frazier and her family. In 2019, she tried to share samples with anchors outside the studio. Co-host Jenna Bush Hager later wore the product on air during the recent broadcast. Frazier said the segment was “the icing on the cake.”
