Pecos police issued a warrant for 17-year-old Edwin Gomez for sexual assault, a second-degree felony, according to the Pecos Police Department.
Officers were dispatched at 5:07 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 20, to the Pecos Police Department to speak with an individual about a reported sexual assault. Investigators continued the case after the initial response, and the warrant was later issued.
The department said the case is still active and that no further information will be released at this time.
