Abilene Christian University beat West Georgia 59-0 on homecoming at Anthony Field at Wildcat Stadium. The win extended ACU's winning streak to four games. ACU had won three straight before the game, and West Georgia came in with a 1-7 record.

ACU led 28-0 at halftime. Quarterback Ticker Parks threw touchdown passes to Cristian Driver and Dallas Dudley, and Rovaughn Banks and Parks each scored on the ground. In the first quarter, Jacoby Davis intercepted a pass. Hudson Page forced a fumble on a West Georgia read-option play and recovered it. ACU scored only once in the third quarter, and Parks threw an interception in that period.

Head coach Keith Patterson praised the team's play on both sides of the ball. He said the offense is becoming more explosive and is throwing the ball downfield more than earlier in the season. Patterson said the team must stay focused as it enters November. Defensive lineman Kortlin Rausaw credited the team's focus on forcing turnovers, and ACU recorded five takeaways against West Georgia.
