Michael Vigil of United was named the Charlie Clark Hyundai Player of the Week, according to KGNS in Laredo. The honor followed a Week 10 win over Del Rio, where Vigil threw for more than 100 yards and three touchdowns. He also recorded two interceptions on defense.
The story says Vigil, the son of a coach, has learned from many players he has watched up close about what it takes to stand out on Friday night.
