The Mexican Consulate in Laredo will offer passport, consular identification card and voter identification card services from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 7. Appointments are recommended, but people without one may also be served.
Juan Carlos Mendoza, Mexico's consul general in Laredo, said people seeking a passport or consular ID card without an appointment should arrive between 8 and 10 a.m. He said they may have to wait but will be served at some point during the day.
Mendoza said applicants for a passport need a valid identification document and a birth certificate. For a consular ID card, applicants also need proof of address bearing their name.
