Polls open Tuesday, Nov. 3, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. at more than 120 vote centers across El Paso County. Early voting results will be released at 7 p.m., and Election Day results will come out throughout the night.

El Paso Matters reported that more than 164,000 county residents cast ballots during early voting, the highest number ever recorded for a midterm election. The story said the early vote was 18% higher than the previous record and 60% higher than the 2022 midterm. It also said an Election Day turnout of about 40,000 would push the county past its all-time midterm total of 203,000, set in 2018.

According to an El Paso Matters analysis of county voting data, one in six early voters did not vote in the 2024 presidential election. More than one in three did not vote in the 2022 midterm. Women made up more than 55% of early voters, compared with 51% of registered voters.
