Sellers of land in Texas are now required to disclose details about groundwater and surface water, according to the Texas Real Estate Commission (TREC).

The requirement comes from a new TREC form, the Seller's Disclosure About Groundwater and Surface Water Rights, identified as Form 61-0. The form took effect July 1.
