According to figures from the Maverick County Elections Department, 9,583 ballots were reported during early voting from October 19 to 30, 2026. That is about 25.76 percent of the county's 37,204 registered voters. Of those, 9,498 were included in the precinct breakdown, and 85 were identified as provisional and limited ballots.
Precinct 4B had the highest participation rate, at 33.50 percent, with 1,176 ballots cast among 3,510 registered voters. Precinct 3A followed at 32.22 percent, and Precinct 1B was at 31.46 percent. Precinct 3C had the lowest rate, at 16.20 percent, with 105 ballots among 648 registered voters.
Precinct 3B recorded the largest number of early ballots, with 1,295 among 5,329 registered voters, or 24.30 percent. Precinct 1C had 1,289 ballots, or 27.37 percent. The figures show that precincts with more ballots did not always have the highest participation rates. The report noted that about 7,100 registered voters in Precincts 2C and 3B had not cast early ballots, and that Election Day turnout could affect close races.
