Voters in Brazos County can cast a ballot on Election Day, Nov. 3, at more than 25 polling locations. The polls are open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., and voters can go to any of the locations. The five early voting sites are among them. Voters must be registered, and they can check their registration status online.
Voters must show a form of photo identification at the polls, according to the Texas Secretary of State's office. Accepted IDs include a Texas driver's license, Texas election identification certificate, Texas personal identification card, Texas handgun license, U.S. military ID with a photo, U.S. citizenship certificate with a photo, and U.S. passport. Voters without one of these can fill out a Reasonable Impediment Declaration and show an alternative ID, such as a utility bill, bank statement, government check or voter registration certificate, the office said.
Brazos County has several races on the ballot. They include county commissioner and constable for Precinct 4, the Bryan mayor and council districts, a Bryan special election on removing Texas Avenue medians, and Bryan ISD and College Station ISD school board seats. College Station also has a mayor race, council places and a special election. Individual ballots include additional federal and state races. Voters can view their ballot in an online election guide.
