The Dallas Cowboys beat the Philadelphia Eagles 38-21. Running back Javonte Williams had a career-high 155 yards rushing, including a 15-yard run early and a 34-yarder late. He averaged 6.2 yards per carry and scored the final touchdown. Dallas finished with 204 yards on the ground.
It was only the second time since Brian Schottenheimer became head coach and play-caller last year that the Cowboys topped 200 rushing yards. Schottenheimer had been asked about his commitment to the run after losses to Tampa Bay and Green Bay.
Jones said on his radio show Tuesday that the running game "lets us have the opportunity to get Dak under center a lot more." Quarterback Dak Prescott threw three touchdowns on 15 completions, and CeeDee Lamb had two.
Dallas is 3-4. The Cowboys play Arizona at home on Sunday.
