Rep. James Talarico will hold a campaign rally Tuesday in Lubbock. The Talarico campaign said the event has moved to the Fiesta Center, 1902 E. Fourth Street. The rally is scheduled to begin around 7 p.m.

Talarico, a Democrat, is running against Republican Attorney General Ken Paxton for U.S. Senate. The stop is part of what the campaign calls its "Clear Eyes, Full Hearts Tour," a statewide effort to encourage voter turnout. The campaign said the tour aims to turn out voters and bring working people together to take power back from wealthy donors and corrupt politicians.

The event is sponsored by Democrats for Texas, a registered student organization at Texas Tech University. Attendees were encouraged to bring an "I Voted" sticker and to invite friends. NewsChannel 10 said it will stream the rally live on its free app for Roku and on its website.

President Trump is also scheduled to visit Lubbock on Tuesday, where he will campaign for Paxton.
