T-Mobile said Hooks and Maud are two of six schools that won $5,000 in its Spirit Spotlight Awards, according to a company press release. The company said the schools went "above and beyond to rally communities and bring Friday nights to life."
Hooks won the Magenta Energy Award, and Maud won the Most Community Spirit Award. According to the release, the schools earned the awards through their creativity with videos, social media and school spirit. No area school made the final four of the Friday Night 5G Lights competition, the story said.
