Millsap beat Eastland 63-0 in a District 5-3A game. The Bulldogs played before a large crowd dressed in orange in memory of head coach Jacob Johnson, who died earlier in the week after a long illness. Eastland lost its fourth straight game.
Braun Johnson, the coach's son, carried most of Millsap's offense. The junior rushed for 326 yards and scored six touchdowns, including a 61-yard run in the first quarter. Millsap gained more than 400 total yards. Eastland stayed close through two quarters, but Millsap scored 36 points in the third quarter.
Millsap is one game away from claiming a share of the district title. Eastland will host Comanche at Maverick Stadium on Friday, Oct. 30, in its final home game of the 2026 season.
