The May Tigers scored five times in the first quarter on their way to a 67-7 win over the Ranger Bulldogs at O.C. Warden Stadium on Friday. It was May's first game in Ranger since 2003. The Tigers improved to 2-1 in District 10-A play, one game behind district leader Gordon.
Ranger lost its seventh straight game and is 1-7 overall. In the second quarter, Ranger running back Jaxson Martinez scored on a 26-yard run. The touchdown was Ranger's first offensive points since the team lost running back Jordan Rodriguez in its loss to Panther Creek three weeks ago.
Ranger will travel to Lingleville this Friday. The game is scheduled to start at 7:30 p.m.
