Patchy fog covered parts of the Caprock early Tuesday, according to KCBD. The station said the fog was not expected to significantly affect visibility for everyone and should burn off around mid-morning as temperatures rise. Highs were forecast to reach the upper 70s to lower 80s later Tuesday.
On Wednesday, skies are expected to be mostly cloudy for much of the day, which makes the temperature forecast uncertain. If clouds clear early, highs could reach the mid 70s to near 80. If clouds remain through sunset, highs may stay in the 60s.
The forecast calls for a change Thursday as moisture from Tropical Storm Vance moves in from the south. Skies are expected to turn overcast Thursday afternoon, with rain starting late in the day and moving north through the evening. Rain is expected to continue through Friday.
