A Midland man died after a crash in Dawson County on Monday afternoon, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS). DPS said the crash happened around 3:50 p.m.
DPS said a 2016 Volvo towing a trailer was driving northwest on SH 349, with a Toyota Corolla behind it. DPS said the Volvo slowed and began to turn left onto FM 829. According to DPS, the Corolla driver did not control their speed and hit the rear of the trailer. DPS identified the Corolla driver as 46-year-old Carlos Luis Lara Rosales of Midland. DPS said he died at the scene.
