Conrad's Casita, at 648 S. Main St., will display artwork by students at San Felipe Memorial Middle School on Friday, Nov. 6, from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Owner Antoinette "Toni" Conrad said the pieces come from the sixth, seventh and eighth grade art classes taught by Lillie Gamez.

Conrad said 30 to 40 pieces will be on display. Some are nature-themed works by Gamez, and most of the student work is fall-themed. Conrad said Gamez wants to give her students the experience of having their work shown to the public.

This will be the third time the store has shown work by students at the school, Conrad said. She said the store has displayed art during First Friday Art Walks since November 2025, three months after it opened. Conrad's Casita will also provide food and drinks for visitors to the November Art Walk.
