The Montgomery County Sheriff's Office said two men were found dead after a shooting Friday night in Willis. Investigators are still looking into what led to the shooting.
According to preliminary information from the sheriff's office, the woman's ex-boyfriend arrived at her home and shot her current boyfriend. The woman then returned fire and shot her ex-boyfriend, the office said. Both men died from their injuries at the scene.
Deputies said they responded at 7:30 p.m. to the 5000 block of Pleasure Lake Drive after a 911 call reported an assault involving a firearm. Authorities are withholding the names of those involved until families are notified. The case involving the woman's actions will be presented to a grand jury, which will decide whether an indictment is warranted. The sheriff's office said the incident involves only the parties involved and poses no threat to the public.
