According to TxDOT, two northbound alternate lanes on the Southwest Freeway are closed from Main Street to Almeda Road. The northbound connector ramp from I-69 to Spur 527 into Midtown is also closed. Officials said these closures run from Friday, Nov. 6, at 9 p.m. to Monday, Nov. 9, at 5 a.m.
On the Hardy Toll Road, officials said the northbound entrances at Beltway 8 and SH-99 are closed during the same period. The southbound entrance ramp from the Gulf Freeway to the South Loop will also be closed.
TxDOT said the westbound connector ramp on the East Freeway to the IH-610 East Loop will close nightly from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. through the weekend. Officials advised drivers to continue westbound on IH-10, exit at McCarty Road and U-turn to reach the East Loop. According to TxDOT, the northbound mainlanes of East Beltway 8 from Pine Street to SH-225 will also close nightly, from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m.
