Columbus High School will hold its Veterans Day program at 7:50 a.m., Columbus Elementary School at 9:30 a.m., and Columbus Junior High School at 10:15 a.m. Visitor badges for CISD schools can be picked up Nov. 2–6 from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Visitors who get a badge before the program day will not have to wait in line that morning.
Breakfast will be served starting at 7 a.m. in the boardroom. One school invites veterans from the community and nearby areas to gather around the flagpole and eat breakfast. Weimar High School invites the community and all veterans to its program in the gymnasium. Explanley Elementary School, known as ELPS, welcomes veterans and their families to a program in its cafeteria.
