Three people were taken to a hospital after they were stabbed in southwest Houston on Friday night. The incident was reported around 8:40 p.m. on Gulfton Street, near I-69 and Hillcroft Avenue.

Police at the scene said the three victims were in a parking lot when they were approached by two other people. An argument allegedly took place between the groups before one of the suspects stabbed the victims, police said. Officials later said all three victims are expected to recover.

Witnesses identified one possible suspect, who is said to be detained. A FOX 26 photojournalist at the scene said police are looking for the second person involved. No one has been publicly identified, and it is not clear whether the two groups knew each other. FOX 26 said it is working to confirm other details.
