Adnan Walker was arrested on charges of super aggravated sexual assault of a child and was released on bonds totaling $185,000, according to the report. He was already free on bond for three counts of child pornography at the time. Court documents allege Walker sexually assaulted a five-year-old non-verbal girl multiple times. The child pornography charges filed last year state he had more than 500 videos.
According to court documents, the monitor for Walker's GPS tracking device was turned off in September. The documents say it happened again, and he was taken into custody. The report said it is unusual for a bond to be revoked only for violating bond conditions.
Andy Kahan of Crime Stoppers said the court may have decided to increase the bond because of the nature of the offenses. Kahan said he hopes Walker does not get out. Walker has not posted the increased bond of $285,000 and remains in the Harris County Jail. His next scheduled court appearance is December 15.
