Heritage of Odessa will honor a group of residents Tuesday at the Odessa Marriott Hotel and Conference Center for their contributions to the city. The honorees include Annie Stanley in the arts category and Mark Germer in business.

Stanley is Director of Education at the Ellen Noël Art Museum. She moved to Odessa in 1992. She started a preschool story time program and book clubs for children and adults at the museum, and she helped establish the first Little Free Library in Ector County. She also serves as a longtime board member and past president of Odessa Arts.

Germer is president of Germer & Co. CPAs in Odessa, a role he has held for more than 12 years. The story says he has more than 40 years of business experience and works in corporate finance, accounting and taxation.
