The No. 13 Texas Tech Red Raiders (6-1, 3-1 Big 12) play the No. 22 Arizona Wildcats (6-1, 3-1) on Saturday in Lubbock, Texas. Texas Tech is coming off a loss the previous week.
Texas Tech head coach Joey McGuire said the team's season is now a "five-game season" with "no room for error." He said the team must play much better this week.
McGuire praised Arizona's quarterback, a fifth-year senior, and said he drives the offense. Texas Tech defensive coordinator Shiel Wood said Arizona is one of the top passing offenses in the country and is averaging 36 points a game. Wood said the quarterback can hurt teams with his arm and his legs.
