The city of San Marcos held its biannual Senior Expo in the parking lot of the San Marcos Activity Center and Library. The lot had no empty spaces during the event.
Vendors included assisted living and retirement communities, civic organizations, rehabilitation facilities, home health and hospice providers, and retail businesses. The city also had its own departments that serve seniors on site.
Among the groups represented were the Hays County Health Department, the San Marcos Parks and Recreation Department, the San Marcos Public Library, and H.O.M.E. Center. The Public Works Department also had a table, where attendees could fill out its Transportation Survey.
