Bryan Mayor Bobby Gutierrez won another four-year term, defeating challenger Rafael D. Peña III, according to KBTX. Council member Paul Torres also won reelection in Single Member District 1, defeating challenger Chris Scotti by a wide margin.
Single Member District 2 is the only Bryan race still undecided. Chrissy Ransome received the most votes but not enough to win. Because no candidate received 50% of the vote, the race may proceed to a runoff.
The final election results will determine who takes part in the runoff. They will be read on Tuesday, Nov. 10.
