The station linked to their answers to community questions from an October forum held by the Amarillo League of Women Voters.
Childress ISD has a $133 million bond package on the ballot. Three propositions would fund new schools and athletic facilities, and a fourth covers funds tied to property values in the district. In Claude ISD, voters are asked to let the district make mandatory recapture payments by buying attendance credits. Candidates for U.S. Representative District 13 are Ronny Jackson (REP) and Mark Nair (DEM). Candidates for State Representative District 87 are Caroline Fairly (REP) and Diana Loya (DEM). The station said that district includes Carson, Hansford, Hutchinson, Lipscomb, Moore, Ochiltree, Potter and Sherman counties.
