The Dallas Stars unveiled a new jersey on Monday that the team will wear during select home games this season. The sweater, called the Hometown Remix jersey, has a white base with neon green accents.
The Stars' website says parts of the design were inspired by Dallas. The texture on the main logo reflects the city's skyline, and debossed patterns reflect Reunion Tower and its hexagonal look.
In a statement, the team said the design reflects Dallas's "bold energy" and its neon lights and modern architecture. The Stars said they will wear the jerseys for five home games, beginning November 25 against the Nashville Predators. Other dates are November 27 against the St. Louis Blues, December 31 against the New York Rangers, January 4 against the Detroit Red Wings and January 30 against the Minnesota Wild.
