Texas A&M's first Southeastern Conference availability report of the week, released Wednesday, lists running back KJ Edwards and linebacker Noah Mikhail as questionable for the Aggies' road game at South Carolina. Under SEC policy, questionable means there is a 50% chance a player will play. Wide receivers Terry Bussey and Kelshaun Johnson and offensive lineman Blake Ivy remain out. Bussey and Ivy are out for the season.
Edwards was injured in the win over The Citadel, when he was leg-whipped and suffered a leg contusion. He re-aggravated the injury and had three carries after the first quarter. On Tuesday, he told reporters he was back to full health. Edwards has 360 rushing yards and two touchdowns on 55 carries this season, the most on the team.
Mikhail has dealt with nagging injuries this season, according to head coach Elko, but has played in every game except The Citadel. He is second on the team with 36 tackles.
South Carolina also listed three players as questionable, including wide receiver Donovan Murph and free safety J'Zavien Currence. The game kicks off at 2 p.m. Saturday at Williams-Brice Stadium and will be broadcast on ESPN.
