Hallsville ISD staff, students and families gathered for the district's third annual Multicultural Night. The event was held in the gymnasium at Hallsville North Elementary School. Highlights included student artwork, tables representing different countries and student dance performances.

Hallsville North Elementary students took part in a Heritage Walk. They paraded in front of an audience carrying a paper representing a country or dressed as an influential figure from Hispanic history. Hallsville West Elementary students performed two folkloric dances, "La Raspa" and "Los Machetes." Teachers and students announced the presentations in English and Spanish.

According to the district, the event started in 2023 as a way to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month. It has since expanded to include other cultures within the district.
