Panola County Judge Rodger G. McLane has signed an order lifting the existing burn ban on all outdoor burning in Panola County. The order takes effect Tuesday, Nov. 3, 2026, at 2:30 p.m.

According to the order, the ban was lifted under authority granted by the Panola County Commissioners' Court. The judge consulted with the Panola County Fire Marshal before the order was entered. McLane signed the order on Nov. 3, 2026.
