Daylight saving time ends early Sunday, Nov. 1, when clocks turn back one hour. Two a.m. becomes 1 a.m.
The forecast calls for foggy conditions Sunday morning. A fog advisory is in effect until 10 a.m. for most of southeast Texas. Skies are expected to be partly sunny in the afternoon, with highs in the 80s. Rain chances hold off until Tuesday. Humidity is expected to stay high through Monday.
On Election Day, a cold front is expected to bring showers and some strong thunderstorms through the afternoon and early evening. The timing could change, but the forecast currently shows the front moving through Tuesday afternoon. Forecasters said gusty winds and locally heavy rain could cause street flooding and ponding in the heavier storms. Temperatures are expected to fall back into the 50s and 70s, and humidity is expected to drop. A northwest wind is expected to dry the air after the front passes.
