Houston police are investigating what they describe as a murder-suicide on Willow Chase Boulevard in northwest Houston on Saturday night. Police said the incident started around 7:30 p.m., when the father of a young child went to the child's mother's home to deliver diapers.
Police said the parents later argued, and the man shot the child's grandmother, then shot the child, and then shot himself in the head. Police said the suspect died. HPD Lt. Pulido said the 40-year-old mother was pronounced dead at a hospital and the infant is in critical condition.
Lt. Pulido said officers, homicide detectives and the crime scene unit were on the scene, and that multiple witnesses saw what happened. He said police were praying for the family.
