MiYa Chinese, a restaurant in the Casa Linda area of East Dallas, will expand to Frisco and Fort Worth in 2027, co-founder David Romano confirmed. The original location near White Rock Lake has served restaurant dishes since late 2024, according to the report.
The team plans to open five MiYa Chinese restaurants, including the original, and then pause. A Fort Worth location is expected to open first, followed by one in Frisco. The company is also planning a location in San Antonio's Alamo Heights neighborhood. Romano said he would like a fifth restaurant in Highland Park or University Park but has not yet secured a lease.
The Fort Worth restaurant is expected to be at 5912 Convair Drive, near Bryant Irvin Road. The Frisco location is expected at 5302 Dallas Parkway, near Lebanon Road. The original restaurant is at 9540 Garland Road in Dallas. Romano said the company wants its restaurants to be located in the middle of neighborhoods.
