The DeWitt County Commissioners Court approved Santa's visit to Cuero at its Oct. 26 meeting.
Organizer Angie Cuellar said the Christmas in Downtown Cuero event will be held over two days. On Dec. 11, it runs from 6 to 10 p.m. On Saturday, Dec. 12, activities include a Christmas artisan market, artificial ice skating, a visit from Santa, and children's activities from noon to 10 p.m. Live music is also planned. Cuellar said the event is open to everyone, including residents of Yoakum.
