A mother said she found a needle in a Snickers bar after her 5-year-old son bit into it, and police collected evidence.
A Crystal City mother said she found a needle in Halloween candy after her 5-year-old son took a bite of a Snickers bar.
The responding officer said the object appeared to be a broken needle tip. Police collected evidence from the scene.
How the object got into the candy remains unclear.
