One person was injured in an incident in east El Paso, the El Paso Fire Department confirmed. Emergency crews responded to Kilkenny Road near Edgemere Boulevard and McRae Boulevard after 10 p.m. Wednesday.

A fire department spokesperson said the person was taken to a hospital by helicopter. Their condition is unknown. As of Thursday morning, police were blocking off the road in the area. The El Paso Police Department was contacted for more information.
