Prosecutors allege the abuse lasted for years and that the deputy said he would flee to England if arrested.
An HCSO deputy named Cowley has been charged with child sexual abuse. Prosecutors allege that Cowley abused the child for years.
Prosecutors also said Cowley told them he would flee to England if he were arrested. According to HCSO, the Texas Department of Public Safety is investigating.
