The ranking scored each of 47 professional sports venues in the United States and Canada out of 100, based on seven categories including published ghost stories, stadium age and proximity to burial sites. AT&T Stadium received 62 points, the most of any venue. The group gave it the maximum points for published ghost stories and said its nearby Keystone Cemetery contributed to its score.
Staff members described shadows, unexplained voices and footsteps that suddenly stop, according to the report. Employees also said they saw dishes rise into the air and crash to the floor in a stadium kitchen. The report said that incident led some workers to quit on the spot. Workers also reported an unexplained cold spot near a room named after former Cowboys coach Tom Landry, which has led to speculation that his spirit remains at the stadium.
