Odessa Fire Rescue has canceled its Trunk or Treat event, which was scheduled for Friday, Oct. 30, because of weather.

The free event was set to run from 9 to 11 a.m. at the Central Firehouse, 1100 W. Second St. City officials apologized for the inconvenience and thanked the community for its understanding.
