Aristoi Classical Academy in Katy won all six of its regional championship competitions on Saturday, according to Covering Katy News. The Griffins finished the day 6-0, with regional titles in boys and girls volleyball and flag football across varsity, junior varsity and junior high competition.
Five teams advanced to state tournaments: both varsity volleyball teams, and the junior high boys, varsity girls and varsity boys flag football teams. The junior varsity girls volleyball team finished its season as regional champions, but junior varsity teams do not advance to state.
Athletic director Terry Boling wrote in a message to the school's athletic community that it was an incredible accomplishment for athletes and coaches. The five qualifying teams are scheduled to compete at the state tournament next weekend.
