The Houston Texans (2-5) and Los Angeles Chargers (0-7) meet Sunday at SoFi Stadium. The Texans opened the season 0-4 after reaching the playoffs three years in a row, and they have lost all four of their home games. The Chargers are the NFL's only winless team.
Texans coach DeMeco Ryans said the team has been in many close games and needs to finish them. "How do you find yourself on the winning side of those games?" Ryans said. "Being great in situational football and finishing the proper way."
The Chargers have not scored a touchdown in nine quarters and 27 drives. Their last came in the third quarter of a 23-17 loss to Denver on Oct. 11. Coach Jim Harbaugh said the team wants to get the ball into the end zone. Los Angeles lost 24-9 to the Rams last week. Justin Herbert threw two interceptions in that game, giving him 10 for the season, the most in the league.
