Deputies responded to an apartment complex on Clay Road, just west of Highway 6, in west Harris County, according to Sheriff Ed Gonzalez. They found a woman dead inside.
The sheriff said the cause of death is being investigated. He said foul play has not been ruled out at this time, but the circumstances around her death are not clear.
The woman has not been identified. Sheriff Gonzalez said she is believed to be in her mid-40s. This is a developing story, and more information will be released when it is available.
