Burleson County law enforcement is investigating an incident involving a child and a van in Somerville on Wednesday, Nov. 4. Emergency dispatchers received a call after two men in a white van pulled up near a child who was walking back inside after checking the mail that afternoon.
Officials said the child got away unharmed by running. A nearby resident later reported seeing the same vehicle lingering in the area. Both occupants are described as white men with brown hair.
Burleson County detectives are reviewing the incident. They urged residents to check property cameras, smart doorbells and vehicle dashcams for footage.
