Texas Baptists will hold its 141st Annual Meeting at the Waco Convention Center on Nov. 15-17. Messengers and guests from across the Texas Baptists family are invited. The meeting is set under the theme "Live Out GC2: Love God." The three-day event will include worship and business sessions, seven keynote speakers and 27 ministry workshops. Exhibit halls, meals and receptions are also planned. Keynote speakers include Julio Guarneri, executive director of Texas Baptists, and Debbie Potter, president, who will deliver the President's Address on Tuesday morning. Messengers will elect officers and vote on recommendations, including the proposed 2027 cooperative missions and ministries budget. This year, messenger voting will be conducted by text message. Each messenger registered by a church will need a unique mobile phone number to vote. Churches will need to obtain each messenger's verbal consent to receive text messages from Texas Baptists. More information and pre-registration are available at txb.org/am.
