Senior Abbott adviser Steve Munisteri said the party could lose unless it turns out voters who usually skip midterm elections.
Steve Munisteri, a senior adviser to Gov. Greg Abbott, spoke to the Republican Women of Walker County at an Oct. 19 event at the Walker Education Center. He said polls show competitive races for Texas governor and U.S. Senate.
Munisteri told the group that the Republican Party risks defeat unless it gets out voters who typically skip midterm elections. He said the party has never had an election cycle in which its entire ticket was so close in the polls.
