The Thundering Maverick Band and Color Guard from C.C. Winn High School in Eagle Pass will compete at the UIL State Marching Band Championship, according to the Eagle Pass Business Journal.
School officials have planned a community send-off for Monday, Nov. 2, 2026, at 2 p.m. outside the school gates. Parents, families, students and community supporters are invited to attend and cheer as the group departs.
Officials said the event will recognize the practice and dedication of band members, color guard performers, directors and staff throughout the marching season.
